Day of patriotism

This is a day of remembering those unsung heroes who risked their lives in defending the freedom. It is a difficult task to be enlisted in the military as your life is at stake. You do not know when is your time of would it be your last deployment. In some instances I was able to relate to a friend who was a reservist in the military.  It was hard for him as well as his family but he had no choice as it was part of his chosen career. Many areas of his life were affected- family, relationship,friendship,love, health etc. I have no more idea how he is now or if he is still in the reserves because I have not heard from him for a long time already. May his courage in defending the freedom continues. This memorial day celebration is  remembering and giving thanks for all the efforts of the service men.

I always like to read some websites about women — beauty, fashion, dating,relationship, home, cooking and many more related topics. I got to read some beauty tips on making a stylish ponytail. I find this picture of Beyonce on a sexy pony look. Her hair is slick back into a low pony then the length are curled with a large barreled iron. Wrap a small section of hair on the band to finish. A  simple but sexy pony to do on hair.  Perhaps I can try this on my hair too :)

Staying in shape is always a good feeling particularly to women. Fresh Fishes

Going to the wet market is one of my itinerary every Sunday. It is enjoyable to see some fresh fruits, poultry, fishes and vegetables that are being sold. In the wet market you can really buy fresh and natural harvest like these fresh fishes that I bought last Sunday. Before buying them I had the vendor scaled and cleaned the lapu-lapu and dangit fishes so that it would be easy to me when I got home for cooking. The dangit was marinated in soy sauce, salt, spices and seasonings then grilled. The grouper was cooked in vegetable broth over the week. Delicious and fresh fishes that are worth to buy in the wet market.

Aging is always certain in each person whether we like it or not, that is the real truth that we have to accept. However, due to the demands of our lifestyles at this modern times we would like to feel and stay young. There are many scientific studies made about aging and some cosmetic products  are said to be the best wrinkle creams that would aid into it.  Staying younger than your age feels like heaven especially to women. It adds confidence and self worth as I observed to those women in their 50′s and 60s.  So stay healthy and feel young by using wrinkle creams. Early liquidation

I did some early liquidation yesterday on my Fern-C sales. Though it is still 3 days before the cut-off but I made it earlier so that I would be free from loads before the month end. I would be expecting lots of reports to make  again especially at the office.  I also consider the time of my cousin because she is also in a hectic schedule at the end of the month.  My sales for the vitamins are constant for the past months and quite slow than it used to be  before. Only valued users are patronizing the product like Mymy, Ate Flor and all of us in the family. I already received the email confirmation of the liquidation few minutes ago and will just wait for the rebates by next week  then.

I have noticed some men who easily developed beer bellies at this time. Perhaps these are linked to their lifestyle and eating habits. My brother Raymund is one of them and he was worried about his weight. I think he gained more pounds during his overtime work at the shop wherein all he did was computer works of lay-outing, printing and many more. He craved  for more saturated fats like meat, burger, sweets, ice creams and other culprit foods that brought and contributed to those flabs particularly in his belly area. Good thing because he did an ab workout for most of the days this month of May. It was tiring but the results on him was great.  I could say that  there is always good result from hard work.

Let’s eat chopsuey

After some grueling days of the week,  I now deserved some delicious meal and come on lets eat this chopsuey.  This is seafood flavored menu with shrimps and squid. Vegetables that I added are cauliflower, chicharo, carrots and sayote. They are all stir fried and keep half cooked to preserved crispness. Salt, pepper, soy sauce and some choice seasoning are added to make it tastier. Best serve when hot together with freshly cooked rice.  One simple but healthy meal that would surely be delicious to prepare at home.

This is a great alternative to smokers and I think I would highly  recommend this electric cigarette to my Uncle Gene who is a heavy, chained smoker until this time. We are already concerned about his health because of this vice. It is hard for him to quit smoking the soonest possible time because it’s been part of his system for the past 50 years. What a  horrible smoking talent of my uncle! Though his family constantly reminded him but he is still hard headed. This new innovation on electric cigarette would be a big help for Uncle Gene and hoping for more people who will patronized and buy this great product with a purpose.

Annoying Insurance

I burst in the telephone this afternoon that ended in my yelling with the customer service personnel of Ayala insurance. I had been making some follow ups and inquiries on my brothers insurance policies and certificates because its been almost a year already since I followed up. The person assigned simply told me about new policies of their office and I was very angry because they never took some effort to inform the plan holder about their new programs. He told me that the insurance was already expired since last year and I can no longer expect the certificate of full payments on it. I made a long distance call through  their trunk lines and just said to me those things. I was diligently paying the premiums and to the end my brother cannot avail of anything.Stupid company! My afternoon is so bad and while I am typing this post I can still feel my trembling emotions brought about by the insurance.
