This is a day of remembering those unsung heroes who risked their lives in defending the freedom. It is a difficult task to be enlisted in the military as your life is at stake. You do not know when is your time of would it be your last deployment. In some instances I was able to relate to a friend who was a reservist in the military. It was hard for him as well as his family but he had no choice as it was part of his chosen career. Many areas of his life were affected- family, relationship,friendship,love, health etc. I have no more idea how he is now or if he is still in the reserves because I have not heard from him for a long time already. May his courage in defending the freedom continues. This memorial day celebration is remembering and giving thanks for all the efforts of the service men.
