A few weeks from now will be the onset of the holiday season. I am already excited for this special event of the year. Even if it is still the month of November, I am already thinking on what to give as presents for my brothers and sister. Well gadgets are in demand on this modern times and for sure  ipods would be a great delight for them as my Christmas gifts. This is a secret yet  because I want it to be a surprise for my siblings. A good timing also because my sister will celebrate her birthday on December twenty four. Having this gadget is one way of experiencing the joys of life by listening to modern music of time.

Saturday class

Its Saturday again but this day is not the same as my previous Saturdays. I have to be early in doing my home job- laundry, cleaning etc. I take lunch earlier and do some short nap for an hour then get up myself to go downtown for an afternoon class. We had a 2 hours of lecture on the chapter two of the accounting subject. The professor is seems fast in his lecture that some of my classmates were not able to catch up. Some were also late. I just arrive and doing this post now.

Non-working holiday

It is declared holiday today, no work and no class for the entire country. Everybody loves it and I am one those who make the most of this day at home. I wake up late and take my morning coffee with pandesal sandwich. Laundry is finish in the morning and I have time to cook for lunch.  I cook garlic shrimps and it is a finger linking goodness to have it paired with hot rice. I spend the afternoon with a sleep for 3 hours. Then do some household cleaning in the late afternoon. All in all my holiday stay at home is very fruitful as I am able to finish some personal tasks.

Saturday update

My most awaited day of the week, Saturday! I wake up late already this morning giving more time for myself to indulged in sleeping after a very stressful days of the week.  I just re-heat some food left over last night and have an early lunch so that I can be on downtown early afternoon. I visit the mall and buy some personal necessities. I also buy a calculator for my accounting subject.  Later in the afternoon I visit Maricel for some hair fixings. This is the longest transaction for today. I take dinner in Time square then buy groceries. Updating posts here are always time consuming yet full of fun. These are my updates for today. For two months now of my sister’s diet program I have noticed that she is getting better in reducing weight. I know a person in the office named Aireen. She had been working as a trainee and aid in the section. After months of knowing her I noticed her sincerity and dedication on her assigned work. She is diligent and always have a good attitude. I pity her one day because she said that she has only few dresses to wear and most of her clothes are already worn out. She cannot buy one for herself because of a very minimum salary that is only good for her daily consumption. I thought one day to share to her some of my clothes.  She was so happy to received it. She can now have many blouses to wear everyday at the office. The joy of sharing in my own little way somehow has lifted the spirit of Aireen.

Eating with delight

I had a chance to bought a kilo of fresh crabs in the market. The price was cheap to I took the opportunity. A kilo consists of I think 3 regular sizes of fat crabs. I cooked it the other day in just a simple dish. The crabs are pre-boiled then I sauté the onions, garlic and ginger. Add the crabs, oyster sauce, salt, pepper  and cola (use this instead of water). Simmer for 15 – 20 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Garnished with some green leeks. Serve hot with rice. best eaten using hands because you need to use a cracker to really savor the yummy meats inside it. This seafood is truly tempting on the table. Have a bite!

My daily work in the office is mostly on documents- processing, sorting, classifying, verifying and many more. With this kind of job I always need a pen, ink and rubber stamps to mark on papers being submitted. I see to it that I only have my own things to use without borrowing from my office mates. This is to ensure privacy and security as far as documents are concerned. I bought a new rubber stamp the other day and I am happy that there is already a self inking kind. It would be easier for me to put the ink safely in place to use without the fear of ink spillage and stain.
