Well this is inevitable because the season was full of good treats, gifts, parties, get together, reunions and many more eating activities. I even included myself with the post holiday problem. But I am looking at it as a good chance to become responsible  to lose weight. Papaya fruit

For the past months, there was a scarcity of papaya fruit because the production was largely affected by the climate change and the El Nino (prolonged summer season). I am thankful because I was able to buy some ripe papaya in the market fruit stand last Sunday. The variety is called “solo” where the flesh is thicker as compared to other native papaya fruit. It is sweet and a healthy after meal desert. One of my favorite fruit in year round season aside from being affordable, it is healthy, delicious and has very good effects especially on me who had difficulty on my bowels for the past days.

Holidays indeed had very great and meaningful memories. But there are frustrating too. One of them is gaining some weight. Bulging tummies, excess fats and many more. This is because of too many fatty intakes during the holiday season until the new year.  I think it is important now to take our weight into consideration and attention. I must admit that I was also affected by too much foods taken but I slowly eliminate fats and bulges by taking apidexin to help me lose weight. Now I am feeling sexy and pretty again for the year 2011.

Receiving gifts I think is something that would not be refused by any one especially at Christmas.I received more than enough of pasta packs gifts this Christmas and one of my choice menu to cooked after the holidays was this Carbonara. I used angel hair spaghetti because I like the texture of the pasta. Mushrooms and pork ham slices were added on the white creamy sauce then topped with Parmesan cheese. Its always great to celebrate the season with pasta dishes like this one.

home speakers

My cousin just brought a new home entertainment system for his family. It was his personal gift for his home last Christmas season and everybody was so happy to have that nice entertainment showcase. He immediately requested me to make a canvass on home speakers for the audio system to make the sound crisp and clear when playing music and movies.  I am always a helpful person in any requests to me as long as I can make it. Good thing he like my personal choices of quality and state of the art speakers.

Family get together

I was having a great time together with my siblings and relatives who just came for the holidays. As the host, I was the one who mainly did the food preparation. They arrived at almost 7:00pm already from the airport. Dinner meals were served like buttered & garlic shrimps, fish & vegetable broth and kinilaw (raw tuna in vinegar and spices). They were so thankful for the food servings because they were already hungry from the long flight. This was the happy moment together with my relatives last holiday season.

The start of the new year so far is doing well in the office. Though there are still remaining backlogs but it is almost done now as compared last year where stress met me on the first days of January.  My immediate superior requested me to secure a new rubber stamp for this year as it is very much required especially in receiving some important documents. I immediately personalized mine so that it would be unique and authenticate for my receiving tasks.

Registration update

After office today I visit My in her clinic. We were having some problems on her pin and security pin registration/updates because it got an error and invalid registration. I requested my cousin to help us out for the registration. She immediately send a text message on the procedures and immediate we try it. With so many attempts and errors at last My’s registration is successful. She will not have a hard time on the fund inquiry every month now because the problem is already solved. We have more chats after about each other’s life updates. We cannot extend for more because I sill have to report for my evening class.

My brother purchased a new television for his newly renovated room at home. He is very happy at this time  because at last his hard earned living together with his efforts paved way and resulted to the beautiful and elegant room. I accompanied him last week when he purchased the new television. He choose a flat screen state of the art technology television. Long inches that would fit to the corner of the room for entertainment. I choose some television antennas also in case when the television set would encountered problems as far as reception and clarity of the channels are concerned. I am happy for my brother’s effort to make a room of his own and hoping for him to be more responsible person this time.

Shivering Monday

Its the first Monday of 2011. I start my day right today. Waking up early is quite tiring for me because I was used to stay in bed late every morning  during the vacation days. I report for work earlier and join with the ceremony with all the employees. Good thing because there are no heavy loads of transactions today. But the weather is quite  bothering . It rain almost the entire evening until morning. When I ride the jeepney going home, it feels so cold that it make me shivers.  There is a low pressure affecting the city and I can feel that this seems to be  the weather on previous months of December.
