The weather for the past weeks were mostly cloudy and rainy. Personally I have noticed that my skin reacts to the climate. I easily get dry skin and some allergies tried to appear on my wrist and back. I bought a extra moisturizing body oil to help and aid on the lost moisture. The results were great and my skin was back into its original state. Also, lip moisturizer should be frequent to prevent cracked lips. I thought that stress from work, school and home also affected my skin. I always try as much as I can to hydrate by drinking lots of water intake and also eating healthy foods like fruits and vegetables.

I already have two (2) existing life insurances. One is already paid up years ago and the other one is still one year left for full payment. This is not financially heavy for me anymore because I faithfully updated and paid the annual premiums as of this date. I referred to my friend who is a financial advisor regarding my plans and she said, read about everything you need to know about life insurance because there are latest insurance plans that offer good and interesting benefits best suited for your personal needs. For me this is a wise investment to make this time.

It is Saturday again but seems the weather is not bright compared to the previous days. It is cloudy when I wake up at eight o’clock this morning. I do the laundry and have it spin dry so that I can hang it in the room afterwards. I have lunch at exactly twelve noon, noodles and sardines with rice. Simple dish but it satisfied my grueling stomach. I took some nap afterwards to recharge myself from the stress of the week. Its very tiring to get up and go to the downtown district because it is drizzling around 3:00 pm. But I have to because I need to make some emails and updates here. A gloomy yet very thankful Saturday for me.

I am interested in collecting some memorable and also valuable things. When I talked to my cousin the other day, one of our topic was about personal investments. Well it was a serious conversation actually because we were sharing so many plans in our lives. Life is so short and we are not getting any younger anymore. Since we have extra amount of money in the bank, we are planning to buy gold coins. I think this is one good personal investment to have because the value increases in time. I would like also to add platinum and silver coins on my collection investment. I hope these plans will be finalized next week.

Today is the twenty fifth (25th) year of commemorating the Edsa People Power Revolution last 1986. The regime of the dictator ended that year and paved way to a peaceful transition to democracy. I can still remember I was on my second year in high school that time. My mother was so alarmed hearing from the news on radio about the uprising of the military carrying arms and riding on armored tanks on the streets. I had no idea then because I was so young. I just kept on asking my mother what was happening. She was so serious listening on the news and later told me that Marcos was out of the palace. The rest was history. Now I learn that such event was so crucial because the powerful man in the government was ousted from power. The Divine intervention was powerful that it ended in a peaceful way leading to the democracy that the people are experiencing right now. May the Edsa spirit continues to live on the country. This is one history that we should always be grateful for.

My weekend was great because I had extra time to give myself a break at least for a while. When I went to the market for my home consumption, a vendor of a seafood sold me some fat crabs. I had no spare money that time so I just bought two medium sized crabs and had them cooked the steamed way. Onions, ginger, lemon grass, salt, pepper and seasonings were simply added and it tasted so heavenly. I enjoyed my time eating those white crab meat especially on its arms and bite. I hope I can have a chance to buy again some crabs on the market on cheaper price.

I am reading some health articles online and would like to post some valuable health tips here about foods that will help to have a good sleep.
1. Cherries. Fresh and dried cherries are one of the only natural food sources of melatonin, the chemical that controls the body’s internal clock to regulate sleep.
2. Bananas. Potassium and magnesium are natural muscle relaxants, and bananas are a good source of both.
3. Toast. Carbohydrate-rich foods trigger insulin production, which induces sleep by speeding up the release of tryptophan and serotonin, two brain chemicals that relax you and send you to sleep.
4. Oatmeal. Like toast, a bowl of oatmeal triggers a rise in blood sugar, which in turn triggers insulin production and the release of sleep-inducing brain chemicals. Oats are also rich in melatonin, which many people take as a sleep aid.
5. Warm milk. Like bananas, milk contains the amino acid L-tryptophan, which turns to 5-HTP and releases relaxing serotonin. It’s also high in calcium, which promotes sleep.

The administrative staff in the office is getting busy in preparation for her upcoming wedding on March 30, 2011. Likely, I will be one of the invited guests on her big day. I suggested to her the other day about some unwanted fats showing on her belly, hips, thighs and arms. They are not so pleasing when wearing a wedding gown obviously. She should look good on the wedding and be the most beautiful and sexy bride of the day. There should be no time to waste so I told her to try diets that work fast for women. With just a month to go, for sure there will be results on her in losing some unwanted weight. Good thing she listened to my positive suggestions.

The flowers for the month of February are Primrose and Violet. Primrose is is a herbaceous perennial plant, low growing, to 10–30 cm tall, with a basal rosette of leaves. The leaves are 5–25 cm long and 2–6 cm broad with an irregularly crenate to dentate margin, and a usually short leaf stem. The flowers are 2–4 cm in diameter, borne singly on a slender stem, pale yellow, white, red, or purple. While Violet or Viola species are tiny perennial plants, some are annual plants, and a few are small shrubs. A number of species are grown for their ornamental flowers in borders and rock gardens; the garden pansy in particular is an extensively used spring and autumn/winter bedding and pot plant. Viola and violetta are terms used by gardeners and generally in horticulture for neat, small-flowered hybrid plants intermediate in size between pansies and violets. Beautiful flowers for this month of love.

Lyn’s boss is fond of breeding and training dogs. Breeds of dogs like st. bernard, greyhound, pittbull and doberman are presently taken cared of in his home. This passion for me is not an easy task because it takes lots of hard work and care. Aside from that you have to be financially well off to be able to provide the basic necessities like food, shelter and medication of these kind of dogs. My even told me that her boss asked for dog training advice from a credited organization who specializes in such kind of services. I like to see these breeds of dogs but having them as pets is not my choice at this time.
