Menthol ointment

I always see to it that I have this menthol ointment with me at home. This is a very useful medical aid on coughs, colds, slight headache, insect bites and muscle pains. The menthol is very soothing that it ads as a relief from the pain and itch. I bought this balm at a very affordable price of twenty five pesos.  For the past days and weeks where I was so physically drained, this balm acted as a relief for me. I put some on my temples, shoulders, aching legs and arms. I slept soundly and my morning was just as good as ever.  This is one important thing that every one should have at home.

Saturday exhaustion

My day is totally draining today. I am feeling extremely tired after the sleepless nights of studying and at the same time working for the past weeks. I felt some imbalance the other day and good thing I recovered it. The three hours exam is a mental torture.  I feel a relief now as it is done already. I immediately update my posts here though feeling tired in my eyes. On the early part of the afternoon Lyn calls and asks me to meet with her in the later part of the day. I am suppose to go home already so I wait for her until 6:00 in the evening. She treat me with dinner, stir fried noodles and softdrinks. We have lots of updates and at the same time she pays her past due account. Though exhausted today, I still feel happy and blessed.

Friday’s office scenario

I was tensioned and not at eased yesterday as my thoughts were so occupied by work, class and other personal things.  I tried to be calmed and stayed myself away from stress so that I can be prepared for the finals this weekend.  There were many people in a hurry for their tax transactions in the morning. I planned not to use the computer aside from the walk-in ones but instead made some reviews. An office personnel was emotional to tell her frustrations regarding the failure of her son to pass the bar exam. The other two employees got mad of each other about some tax related documents.  I was no longer in focused at the office so I decided to under time and went home early. Good thing the section chief agreed. I arrived home earlier than my usual time.

Non working holiday

I am having my day today as it is declared non working holiday in the local city in celebration of its seventy fourth anniversary of being chartered as a city. There is having a heavy down pour when I leave home this morning. I deliver a box of multivitamins (Fernc) to My and joined with her for lunch. I am busy now updating my posts on several of my sites because I was not able to logged on for the past days. I will not stay long though because I still have lot of things to study . Maybe a buy of little things in the grocery later then be early for home.

Tough week

This is the last week of my class and it would be a crucial days ahead until the weekend as I prepare myself for the final examination. There will be many discussions in preparation for the deans exam which will cover from the beginning of the book’s chapter where the subject started up to the last coverage for the week. I am busy concentrating my mind on the subject as this is crucial for me. My hope is to spare myself from mind stress that would greatly affect on my comprehension and review as I prepare for the finals. Office works and deadlines are being set aside and no longer my priority. The best of luck for me this week.

Japan earthquake


Japan Earthquake

I was in the office yesterday when I saw the live telecast on the cable news of the strong intensity earthquake at 8.9 magnitude that rocked Japan. The devastating effect was so terrible. This was so far the strongest for the past one hundred years of the country’s history. Many damages on properties, land, buildings and most especially the people.  The world is in grief with Japan on this trying times. Countries on the Pacific Ring of fire which includes the Philippines is not spared from the sudden attacks of earthquake. The most important thing at present times are awareness and preparation in case this natural disaster would attack at any time and nobody knows when will it happen. Hope the Japanese people would overcome on this devastation the soonest time.

pendant lighting

I was doing some room fixings the other day and unluckily the lighting on my study table no longer functioned as I turned off and on the switch. The lamp is so important because I am doing a lot of work in the table. So I decided to buy a new pendant lighting as a replacement.  I like the latest design of the modern lighting technology because it suits to my personal needs and taste. The product is of good quality and the lighting has good effects on my room area. I think I would buy another one for the room of my brother because he is also busy in his printing and lay-out works. I will recommend to him the heavy gauge kind because this  can sustain in long hours of use.

Correction tape

My officemate just recently gave me a piece of correction tape. This is the modern thing to use whenever you have mistakes written or typed in a paper. I was used to have that liquid eraser wherein I brushed the error area of what I have typed or printed. It usually lasts for few minutes until the liquid dries out. It is sometimes a mess and a hassle of time. Unlike using a correction tape I simply have to press it to cover the corrected item and immediately type or write the correct one. This is very useful especially on my schooling because I have to erase words from time to time. Thanks for this great writing innovations.

Southern quake

There was a news yesterday about a 5.7 magnitude earthquake that rocked the southern part of the country particularly Surigao.  This was quite strong already and destroyed some houses by collapsing walls. Many residents of the area went out of their houses and stayed away from a possible accidents.  There was even a road and highway damages.  The country is situated on the Pacific Ring of Fire where earthquakes can happen at any time. There should be an awareness and preparation at this time especially that natural calamities are happening in many parts of the world. The earth has aged already. Signs of times as written in the Bible. Faith to God is very important because He is  the Supreme Being who reigns in this world. May God’s protection be upon us always.
