Back on my post

Its been a busy weekend for me that I got short of time here for updates and posts. Some family relatives arrived here in the city and spent a few days at home. We had many activities for the weekend. My aunt got sick and we decided to visit her in their home about an hour of travel from the city. It is located in the far flung area where their farm is being situated. Also I had to help them in their groceries, cooking and food preparation and some home essential canvass. It was quite stressful but it was all right because this was their only chance to spent sometime with us after months of not seeing one another. I still had some hangovers until this time that I felt lazy still to work. The busy work scene also makes me feel tired. Anyway, I am hoping that I can work it out this week. I am thinking of unwinding later, lets see.

I am always thankful for the privileges that I availed as far as my insurances are concerned. Actually I have two insurances with different scopes and coverages in benefits as stated on the policies. Its been years already since such insurances were paid up. I was thinking the previous day of availing another offer of guaranteed acceptance life insurance. As I carefully analyzed it is beneficial for me in the later years to come. As I age nothing is certain in life. There might be some changes as far as life status and for me being secured with life insurance can give a certain degree of assurance that whatever will happen in life soon I will have a fall back in my own little  way. I still need to do some more research and thorough planning on this and hopefully it will be materialized in the right time.

New Idol – Scotty


American Idol 2011

I got a chance to sneak for a while on the season finale of the American Idol for this year. Scotty McCreery is this year’s winner. The finale show of AI yesterday overwhelmed many avid fans as many stars also performed on stage. Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Carrie Underwood, Tom Jones, Bono and many more. Even the judges Steven Tyler and the sexy Jennifer Lopez did some wonderful performances.  Scotty one of the youngest contestant emerged as the grand winner with his country style of music. Well, congratulations and looking forward to hear from your coming albums soon.

Stormy week

The weather is cloudy today as the skies are covered with dark clouds which signal a heavy rain coming any hour this afternoon. The weather bureau signaled storm number two in many different areas here in the country. The name of the storm is “Chedeng” and was spotted about three hundred sixty five kilometers east of northern Mindanao. The weather forecast office further announced that such storm will enhance southwest monsoon and  this might be the reason why scattered rain showers were felt during evening and late afternoon here in the city. Though the place where I am living is not typhoon belt still the tail of the storm can be experienced. I hope the coming weekend will be a good weather because I still have lots of laundry on stand by for the weekends’ chores.

dark circles

I enjoyed my time together with my aunt this weekend and we had a nice chats after months of not seeing each other. I have noticed that she was having some dark circles that were very obvious around her eyes. I thought that she was very stress because of so many household work daily that keep her from relaxing even for a while. They say that the eyes are the windows of our soul and all our emotions, feelings, worries, anxieties, excitements  and more would visibly reflect on our eyes. So it is always important to take extra care about our visual parts. I suggested to my aunt to put some special eye creams to help diminished those puffs on her eyes. Also a good sleep and healthy food intake would naturally help her eyes back to its natural glow again.

Family get together

My weekend is so busy as my relatives arrived from the province yesterday morning. Also my cousin is spending a vacation with the family for a month. It was a good chance for another family get together once again. The two elderlies were scheduled for their annual check up early morning yesterday. The whole morning today we have a great chats with everybody keeping updates of each other’s individual lives. Its been  months since we saw each other and obviously there is a feeling of longing being so close with everybody as one family. At lunchtime we join together for some hearty servings in the restaurant. Then shop for some groceries home later. The family get together  is very enjoyable and it enables each family member to be united and remain as one.

Costa Del Mar Sunglasses

I enjoyed my malling activities last weekend with my brother. It was the only time of the week wherein I can hung out and enjoyed the nice scenery of the shopping centers. Our activities included some shopping for personal things, back to school essentials of my nephews and nieces, dining and many more. My brother decided to bought a pair of Costa Del Mar Sunglasses as personal wear because his old sunglasses had already worn out. He was very happy when he bought this new kind because it is specially crafted for his lifestyle. My brother is into outdoor activities like fishing, water skiing, boating and biking. The latest model of blackfin sunglasses provides great quality lenses that can be very beneficial especially for his eyes. He is always after good quality and performance. Aside from these, the price is also affordable and he even availed of sales discounts. Our weekend shopping was indeed  great and I hope to have free day to  spend time in the mall again soon.

Cooking ingredients

I took this shot of the ingredients for the bam-i menu that I cooked one weekend at home. It was composed of chopped garlic and onions,  peeled carrots and sliced into sticks, sliced pork liver and sliced chicharo (young green pea pods). The combined stir fired noodles (pancit and rice kinds)  or simply called as bam-i is one favorite menu at home. I already get used to cooking this recipe and I can proudly say that in time the taste is excellent. I see to it that the ingredients are fresh. Also it should be complete in seasonings and spices so that the great taste of the noodles, vegetables, meat and seafood would really come out.  I just love cooking and I think this is the passion that I will forever treasure with me.

toshiba laptop computers

Its been always my dream to own a personal computer. With my current lifestyle where most of my works are through the internet, I just decided to own one. There are lots of computer offers in the market varying from designs, features, brands and many more things that they can offer to customers. During a recent mall exhibit, my interest was caught on the displays of toshiba laptop computers.  The units looked so nice where I  had many choices of computer  of the latest designs. It really impressed me as I saw the nice features of the laptops on display. I am thinking now of buying one for myself.  This will not be as soon as possible but in time when my financial funds will be ready and available. I am already excited and I am hoping that this plan will be soon realized.

Brown socks

I bought this pair of socks last weekend in the mall because I need it on my closed wearing shoes that I often use everyday. It is quite similar to stocking but only ankle in length. The price is very cheap at seventeen and seventy five centavos only. I cannot use those thick ones because they can no longer fit on my shoes. My feet will have a hard time to put inside and so this kind can easily fits in me. Careful washing should be observe because of the sensitivity of the garment to run of its fabric. I hope it will last for month of service.
