Hair polish

One of my personal grooming mainly includes my hair. My day should always start with a good hair that is why it needs to be always clean, conditioned and polished. I bought this hair product because my hair badly needed some polishing every time I fix my hair before going to my daily activities. I put a small amount in my palm and run it through damp hair starting from the roots to tips. My hair feels soft and manageable throughout the day and it is very easy for me to style any time I want.  Feminine grooming is very meticulous that is why I always pay attention on my well being everyday.

Car repair follow up

Its been a month already since my cousin trade in his SUV car in the dealer shop for a repair.  The major rehabilitation included some important parts that were partially wrecked from the accident that happened two months ago. We agreed to meet this morning and unluckily the car is still in the shop. My cousin found some untoward changes with regards to their agreement on the repair of the RAV4. I think some notes were not being followed and it caused quite a stir of anger on my cousin who had been patiently waiting for months for the repair to be finished. he just keep his cool when we meet in the mall for lunch today. It really needs patience and good thing that he visited the shop or else some damages will never be fix even if the car would be scheduled for release.

The family is already excited for the graduation of Miggy in college. He is the second son of my cousin taking up computer science course in an exclusive private university. The graduation will be set on October this year and this early on we already received some graduation invitations for the commencement exercises.  I personally like the invitation because it is simple, creative and in theme for the occasion.  I thought that the card was personally crafted and designed to be more personalized when given to the families of the graduates. My cousin is already planning for a big party. She even requested me to be in-charge of the food preparation. As a chef I already have plans on selected delicious menus for the said party.  It feels exciting to see a family member who will soon achieved a degree that the family will always be proud of.

Calabash fruits

I had been worried for the past days because the calabash tree that I planted in front of the house is slowly falling its leaves. I have observed this for about a month and it was just recently that I saw almost all the leaves turned yellow and dried falling down. I immediately requested my brother to got the matured fruits. These two were picked up last week. The bigger one weighs about four kilos while the smaller one about three and a half kilos. I already scheduled them for cooking and extracting of juices as it is known to have good health benefits. This would be taking time for me because the procedure is quite tedious. Anyway, its for ones health so I really have to do it. I am hoping that the tree will not die but regain again its leaves so that it can bear some more fruits.

The current economic situation greatly affects everyone and I personally is not spared from this global problem.  Earning for a living theses days is very hard especially when you have so many expenses and the income you have is not enough to pay all your financial obligations. I just watch the second  state of the nation address of President Benigno Aquino live on television this afternoon.  This is his yearly update to the people regarding his governance and accomplishments being the present president for a year now.  The president is doing a tough job and it is not an easy task. He have lots of mess to clean up from the past regimen. I appreciate his continued hard work and dedication as a president. Though he cannot avoid those leftists and activists who have nothing seen on him except his being incompetent, no focus, no direction style of governing the country. His speech this afternoon for me is sincere and maybe most of the people cannot feel yet at this point in time their expectation from the government. The country needs a good leader like Pnoy and with continued support from the majority of the populace, I think his plans for the good of the country can be achieved .

Tribute to Parents

I can remember during my high school days wherein the school celebrated the parents day for all the students. I was obliged to brought my parents for the said celebration. Well it was a great celebration during my younger years. Now as we celebrate again the day for our parents, I would like to give my personal tribute to my father and mother who had been great parents to us. Wishing you a day as warm as your smile, as happy as your heart and as special as you are.

Pork pot roast menu

I am always interested to try some simple new recipes as far as cooking is concerned. Maybe because it is my personal passion and I never get tired of making new adventures in the kitchen. This Asian pork pot roast menu was taken in a magazine while I was having my hair done in the salon. I immediately wrote the recipe and cooked it last weekend.  The pork chops special cuts were slow cooked with water, seasonings, garlic, marmalade, soy sauce, salt and pepper. It took me two hours of boiling using charcoal so that the tenderness of the pork will be done slow. The savory sauce blended well with the very tender pork chops. More rice should be served because you’ll be wanting some more. I just love the taste. Yummy serving either for lunch or for dinner.

rainy day

There seems to be another tropical depression that is affecting the weather here in the city. It rains early this morning until noontime. I have a half day at work because I need to attend to some important unfinished household mess. The gas is scheduled to be delivered in the morning too. I have to pick up some package of vitamins  from the delivery van. Well hectic half day actually and I have to report at the office at one o’clock in the afternoon. Good thing there are no transactions as compared from the previous days. I time out immediately after work and make some important updates in here.
