Vitamin C orders

My office mate asks me this morning about the alkaline sodium ascorbate vitamin c that I am selling and I am thankful that she order some capsules. Her child was just recently admitted to the hospital because of infant pneumonia. It was very difficult for her especially that she is working and taking care of a sick eight month old baby was so stressful. I tell her to take vitamin c this time because she is always on stress. Also have her baby a capsule of vitamins to be taken once a day to strengthen the immune system and be away from diseases. She buys two pads of the capsules and will be taking her doses of vitamins tonight.  The present weather is unpredictable and making many people get sick. Taking vitamin c is really important because for me health is always wealth.

Red doormat

I had been going through the nearby mall for the availability of stocks of the doormat and luckily it was already available in the shelf. I immediately got one for home. This is very useful kind of household item because it can help trap dirt from the outside. Aside from that, some water cannot get into your shoes, slippers or sandals when entering the door entrance because this trap can hold it. The material is washable and fire retardant. Red is a good color this time and I put this mat in the main entrance door of the house. The green on which I previously bought was placed in the back door part of the house. I have  now the complete doormats for the doors at home.

Waste segregation

The village area where I am residing is now strictly implementing the rules about waste segregation. The household wastes should be segregated as biodegradable and non-biodegradable. At home I already started it by separating some plastics, cellophanes, bottles and other non bio products in a a separated waste basket and have them pic up by the dump truck. While those wastes that is biodegradable like fruit, rice, fish, leaves etc. are being put inside a pot and covered with soil . It will just decay and can now be used as a good organic fertilizer in my garden. This is already a city ordinance because the local government wanted to  minimize the wastes that are one of the causes of floods in the city.  Its just really important at this point in time to be watchful and do my share for the environment.

Life insurance payments

The insurance policies of my brother and sister are almost nearing in their due dates. Finally, they were all paid up. My brother’s insurance was already fully paid for the second quarter of this year while that of my sister was full payment for her annual insurance policy. Though financially hard up these times because of so many payable, I was still very grateful for God’s continued provisions that in those times were I thought of being so financially down, I was still able to paid my financial dues with His divine intervention. These insurances are very important during these uncertain times. I am hoping that I will be able to pay my own before the month ends.

Tripe and sausage stew

This is callos (tripe and sausage stew) that I cooked last weekend at home.  It is made of beef tripe boiled until very tender and some slices of sausages. Vegetables that I included were potatoes (sliced), carrots (cubed) and green peas. The consistency of the stew was made of tomato sauce and tomato paste. It tasted so rich and yummy as eaten with steamed rice.  The cooking procedure was so easy . It would only took time for the tripe for boiling until very tender because such internal organ would be rubbery  if not boiled well.  Sunday at home was so relaxing especially with nice dishes like this savory stew.

Walk to a money changer

I left the office immediately after five o’clock in the afternoon last Monday and did some walking about two blocks away to a money changer for these two dollar bills that I have. The walk also had health benefits as form of my personal exercise. Good thing the money changer was still open so I presented to the person in charge the bills. He checked out the bills if mutilated, destroyed or teared up because they were very particular of the physical appearance of the dollar bill.  The exchange rate from dollar to peso was forty pesos. So I had eighty pesos from these two bills.  I was just happy to had them exchanged to the money changer. I hope to have dollar bills again .

Orange marmalade

I was doing some groceries one weekend at the nearby mall. I thought of one recipe that was long time kept in my files. It was a recipe copy of a pork dish that I had been longing to cook but no time yet. One of its ingredient is this orange marmalade. I immediately put it on my grocery basket so that I would remember it whenever I can have plans to cook such recipe. Marmalade is said to be made of sweetened fruit such as oranges or lemons that is usually spread on breads or eaten in breakfasts. For this jar that I bought I am sure it would bring great taste and flavor to my meat dishes that will be cook hopefully this week when I have my free time.

Sleepy Monday

The first day of the week is here again. My Monday is quite tiresome because I feel exhausted from the weekends’ household chores. I did some marketing early morning yesterday. Then did some cooking for lunch and dinner. I only slept an hour in the afternoon because somebody had to do the weekly cleaning in the surroundings ( canal cleaning, sweeping, watering of plants, weeding and cutting of bushes). In the evening I did some ironing of the clothes for the week. I already slept at twelve o’clock midnight and I feel heavy to wake early this morning. In as much as I do not like to but I have to report for work today. Anyway, my weekend was very fruitful because I did many accomplishments and good blessings as well.

Infrared heater

Another part of the house that is in line for renovation is the living room area. There are already major items that I just bought like coffee tables, corner sets, throw pillows, carpets etc. I also included an infrared heater this time because the living room is often the place for gathering of the whole family. I need the area to be comfortable for everyone.   I like that the heater should be economically friendly. Meaning it is energy efficient with less consumption so that it will not add another load on my electric bill. The new setting of my living room can provide relaxing and healthier environment that would be conducive to living.   I choose a unit that is of good quality and that can serve well on its purpose. I will expecting a delivery hopefully within this week.

Duchess update

I am reading some news while making some updates here and the latest is about the visit of Price William and his wife Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton in the United States. She is getting pretty as ever since her wedding months ago. I think this is their second tour as couple outside their country. She was met by a sick kid and was touch by the sweetness of the child in spite of her health problem. I hope she will stay as real as always and enjoy the life being in the royalty.
