The typhoon is currently affecting the northern part of the country and many provinces and cities are being affected by the devastation. Most of the news on television, radio and newspapers are on focus on the latest casualties of the heavy rainfall. I got this image of some residents who ride in a man made boat that serves as a means of transport floating in deep waters as some floods ruined the communities. Only rooftops can be seen on this picture. The country has already been declared in a state of calamity and many provinces were asking for help especially food, medicines, clothing and many more immediate needs for survival. There are two typhoons that affect the country in less that two weeks and it is so heart breaking to see and hear the news regarding the floods, landslides, rushing / sweeping waters that resulted from that typhoons. I hope those places that were greatly affected can recover and get back into their normal lives the soonest possible time.

Smelling good everyday is always an important part of hygiene and having a spray of cologne to start your day just makes an individual good and ready to start his activities for the world. A body spray cologne is a mixture of fragrances of aroma compounds, fixatives and solvents to give a human body a pleasant scent. It is also made of perfumed liquid made from essential oils and alcohol. Cologne is less expensive from perfume. Perhaps it is because of its basic components that makes it affordable to consumers like me. I can spray some cologne directly on my skin in the morning , noon and afternoon to keep my self feeling fresh and cool in smell. Usually body spray cologne would lasts for a month depending on usage. Fruity flavors are my favorites and hope to collect them soon.

I am happy for the accomplishment of my cousin as he already graduated from college and recently passed the board examination as a technologist that specializes in nuclear medicine. It has been the family’s dream that he will achieved his course because we have seen the potential and determination in him. Now is the time for another new challenges as he would be seeking and applying for job hiring on Nuclear Medicine Technologist Jobs. I just know now that this course specializes about medical imaging using some radioactive process in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. I am thinking that this medical specialization requires thorough study and concentration. Praying for my cousin’s success on his chosen course and hopefully will be able to find work on this medical field the soonest possible time.

I stayed late in the office today. Everybody is happy to join the celebration of the back to back despedida party of the outgoing personnel who would be retiring this month. There are two of them and as a tribute to their fruitful years of service with the bureau. the party starts at five o’clock in the afternoon. Many invited guests come for the party - directors, former chiefs, colleagues, relatives, friends and respective families of the retirees. There is a program beforehand – presentation, song numbers, dances and more. The highlight are the messages given by friends and families that made the retirees emotional. After the program a very delicious meal is being catered to us. Buffet dinner that consists of the following delicious foods– rice, stir fried noodles, roasted pork, desserts, beef stew, fried chicken, gelatin desserts, soft drinks and more. The party ended around nine o’clock in the evening. The tribute to the retirees is very exciting and everyone just enjoyed the party. I am wishing them all the best in life after their retirement.

I took this shot while having my time mid morning at home. It was weekend and I had all my time free from the busy weekdays. I liked to watched the bright sunny blue skies with some cottony white clouds waiving under the blue color. It filled my day with happiness and optimism that behind every stormy weather, the bright sunny morning would always come. I included some beautiful yellow bell flowers that were in vine with the trellis of the dead branch of the magic fruit tree ( I pity this tree actually!). Watching the sky with this kind weather feels very relaxing and it makes me appreciate the wonders and beauty of nature. May the weather in the next coming days be as bright as this shot of the morning.

Another Philippine peso bill that I got when I did some purchases the other day. This is the new two hundred peso bill that is not yet fully circulated in the market. It is colored lighter green with some historical drawings that depicts about the country. This is the new bill soon to be released under the new administration of President Noynoy Aquino whose signature appears in all the new release currencies of the country. I still some more bills waiting for post here. So far I already finished twenty, fifty and one hundred. I hope that the circulation of the new bills will be completed by next year for a new change and face of the peso bills.

Thanks God its Friday! I immediately time out from work at five in the afternoon because I still have many personal things to do. One of them is my groceries for the weekend. I write down beforehand my lists of purchases so that I can remember what to buy when going to the grocery section of the mall. I buy some important items for home like powder soap, fresh fish, sliced bread, noodles, condiments, sauces, shampoo, chicken fillet and more. Grocery is sometimes my past time whenever I am in the downtown district and I always pass by it before going home to see some small items that are needed at home. My grocery shopping is intended for the weekend as I want to spend time at home and not go to the mall anymore. I arrive home at eight o’clock in the evening already and cook some food from the groceries that I have.

My cousin visited at home last week and he introduced to us this nutritional supplements from Usana that is designed for one’s health. The capsules are two kinds, a combination of products as vitamin and mineral supplements for adults. Together they provide a broad spectrum of vitamins , minerals and other plant nutrients that form the foundation of the nutritional system. It has the advantage of olive fruit extract that provides the nutritional benefits of the Mediterranean diet. Me, my sister and brother were each given with a one week (seven days) daily intake and for just one week we are hopefully looking forward for good results. I am on my sixth day today and I take the two capsules an hour before dinner. I have notice that my body always wanted for a sleep as I get sleepy early at night. My food intake is good and I do not feel too bloated and heavy on the tummy part. My last supplement will be until tomorrow and hopefully this newly introduced capsules will bring some good health benefits for our body.

I am supposed to be staying at home this weekend but my office mate invites me for the birthday party of her baby who just turns one. I just respond to her request because she has been inviting me for this birthday a month ago. I arrive lunch time and join with her family for the celebration, Many foods are being serve like pasta, stewed meat, roasted pig, cakes, soft drinks etc. She is so happy that her baby already turn one. A big achievement for her as a mother because for a year she has been through hardships particularly on the baby’s health. It is a celebration of all her families being the first grand daughter on both sides. It feels happy to join with her in this day of her celebration.
