I was doing some marketing last weekend early morning and I remembered that the broom at home was already old and can no longer function of its purpose. When I saw this soft broom I immediately bought one. What I like about this kind is that it is durable, thick, and long strands which can clean big spaces or areas of home. It costs me one hundred pesos as the salesman bargained to me from one hundred twenty pesos. It is also my personal way of helping the local traders in patronizing local products to help their living. I immediately use this soft broom at home. Cleaning is always easy if you have some quality cleaning aids like this broom.

Its been a hard time espacially for employees like me to juggle life – home, work and many more important details of living. The cost of life nowadays is quite expensive from personal or basic items to other wants . When there was an Employee Purchase Program Event, I never hesitated to attend to it because I know that there were many valuable offers that I can availed of at a very reasonable and cheap prices starting from gadgets, appliances, technologies, home appliances and many more nice offers. I am very thankful because it really help me in my needs most especially at home. My friend My also availed the event offers and she was glad to know that there were programs like this for an employee like her.

Birthday parties are always exciting to attend especially if it is for those kids who are so young at heart. During the first birthday of my grand child Mielle, this cute pink cake was the symbol of her first age of birthday. Everyone just enjoyed the festive mood and dinner including some wines and champagnes. The cute pink cake is so nice to look at resembling the birthday celebrant. I just wish her well and hope she will remain always in good health and good girl as she grows. Yummy cake and cup cakes to the cutest pink baby!

Climate change just brought so many natural changes in the entire world. The weather is getting abnormal like experiencing raimfall during hot summer months, line of continuous storms, hurricane, floods and many more calamities that seemed to be extra ordinary at present times. ” Be always prepared” would be a good motto this time because of the uncertainty of natural calamities. Personally I am planning to buy some storm shelters because they can be of safe and good protection just in case the storm will strike in the place where I am living. I choose to buy two as my other siblings also needs one. Quality of materials would be carefully considered for safety purposes. I hope I can materialize these plans before the month ends.

The people until this time is giving a very high news especially for the country’s very own Ms. Shamcey who won the title as third runner up in the much publicized Miss Univers Beauty pageant that was held in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Shamcey presented the Philippines with beauty, glamour, style, elegance and intelligence as sbe ramped herself from other candidates all over the world. Her victory brought that great feeling of being a Filipina who always deserves the best not just locally but also in the international scene. Added also was the joining of the internationally known singer, Ms. Lea Salonga who served as a judge in the pageant. Congratulations! You always deserve your success!

A few months from now will be another cold season of winter where lots of chilling can be feel in the whole surroundings especially the house. I decided to buy some new fireplace mantels at this early on as a preparation for the cold season. Having a fireplace is a must in every home as it provides the warmth and comfort of living. My friend Julile visited me last week from the nearby state and she was also interested in having a fireplace when she saw this nice modern kind that I have. My hubby will be happy to see this new changes in the living room at home when he comes home for my birthday next month. He already delegated to me the household tasks and give my personal freedom to decorate and furnish home. This would be a good surprise for him and at least his money is always worth it when he will see this nice fireplace for winter.

It is already ten years after that tragic 9/11 attacked in the twin towers of New York. This photo was one of my favorite download while commemorating the devastation that brought to down fall of the two buildings. Ten years have passed away and the wounds, sorrows and pain that caused so much to those victims and families are still present until this time. It brought a world wide coverage of warning against terrorist attacks that might happen in any part of the world or at any country. Hoping that the lessons of that tragedy of September eleven would open up the minds of the people about the reality about this orchestrated event that was purposely done for an ultimate purpose.

One of the favorite pastry at home is banana cake. This is fast to consume when I made slices and place it on the secured tight plastic container and stored in the refrigerator. I bought this in a specialty pastry and bread shop that is quite far and intentionally be visited just to purchase their delicious and creamy specialties. The loaf is made of soft creamy dough with bananas as main filling or ingredients. I would consider this loaf as a healthy substitute from junk foods like cheese curls, chips and fast foods. My brother eats a lot of this loaf as it is also his favorite cake. This weekend I bought one loaf for home as a dessert and also as a partner of my morning coffee. I thought of learning how to bake this cake whenever I have kitchen appliance for baking and some ingredients hopefully soon.

Health is wealth. I really agree with this saying because a health well taken cared of can always be beneficial to one’s well being through time. The modernization and globalization of the present lifestyle bring some harmful side effects most especially to the health of the people. That is why I am starting my intake to be healthy with vegetables, fruits, vitamin c and alkaline foods. The water system should also be healthy as well free from germs, bacteria, sulfates and other harmful elements. I personally choose a water softener for the drinking tank at home to help the water be purified, safe and healthy to drink. The water that is being treated tastes good and quite different from the tap water that I had been drinking before. I would like to recommend this water softener for my relatives and friends as my way of sharing some healthful benefits of using water softener in their homes’ drinking system.

A giant crocodile (salt water kind) was captured alive in a province located at Mindanao, western part of the country. It made some headlines for days now not just here on the local and national news but also in the international media. Lolong is considered as the longest crocodile ever captured with the length of twenty one feet and weighing more that one ton. Many people especially the local folks were curiously looking at the crocodile that also invited some attention from neighboring areas. The crocodile believed to had eaten a man and a carabao animal. The volunteers including the local government unit were busy for about three weeks just to hunt for this wild animal. According to the environmental expert, crocodiles become wild when their habitat is being disturbed by humans. Maybe crocodile Lolong was one of those wild animals whose territory has been destroyed and it resulted to the captivity of this animal.
