The advancement of technology particularly in communication is so important and that it greatly help in the lives of people today. I personally appreciate the innovations as it make communications  easier to reach. My father have not keep in touch for months already with his sister who is living in other place. It is reachable through plane or boat rides. He got time to call his sister last month using my cellular phone. I register my line in a promo wherein it only costs a peso in every minute of call. They talked over an hour and really enjoyed   the updates about each other’s lives. It was a moment of longing for the siblings that was very precious as hearing each other’s voices made them both emotional and happy. It is always  great to keep in touch with relatives who are dear and close to hearts.

I love water sports! It has been my favorite past time and relaxation to get away from the daily stress of life. My friend invited me the other day for a two nights swimming getaway at an exclusive high end resort.  She will be the one to shoulder the financial expenses including meals and accomodation. This will be an exciting reunion of all our friends after being apart for quite sometime.  I want to prepare for the coming trip so I am thinking on where do I buy an underwater scuba mask to be used for diving. For me it is very important to have a complete swimming gear to make the adventure complete.  This afternoon I plan to visit the nearby mall and good thing because there is a sale weekend.  I am already excited for the coming getaway and hope it would be a realizable event soon.

My recurring dreams

I just celebrated my birthday last week and on the past days before the eighth of this month, I experienced some dreams that kept on recurring every time I slept. It was about a land, a road, and a lot.  I was very curious though because I thought that it has a meaning and my subconscious mind has been processing my thoughts and feelings. So I immediately searched on what it was all about on those recurring dreams. I know that it is about one’s personal thinking about life stability. I was having a conscious thoughts about my life. There is an awareness on my present status of living. I am longing for stability – financially, emotionally, materially and more. I agree on the interpretation of such recurring dreams and I now that my subconscious mind carefully assesses my thoughts and my feelings. It finds me interesting though and it was a self realization that dreams are fruits of the mind that need some thorough understanding.

I just realized how important it is to have an insurance not only for personal, pension  or life but also for auto insurance as well. The need of insurance was deeply appreciated when my cousin bought his brand new car. For more than two years now, my cousin is enjoying the good benefits of his car and continuously pay the amortization plus the insurance for his vehicle protection. He wants to maintain his insurance credibility so that he cannot be categorized as one of those who have  bad credit auto refinancing status. This way  his credit standing would positively be recognized and  not bring any hassle in case he will have plans of getting an insurance again. I am thinking that being updated is not only applicable in insurances but in every essential thing that we do. This is a good learning experience for me that I should follow if ever I will open for a credit later on.

Annoying officemates

Sometimes it is hard to get along with some officemates who have attitude problems.  I had been working for years in the office and in as much as I can I am trying my best to get along with them. The past days, I just do not know why they became so annoying and they kept on minding other employees. Most of them for me are having an attitude problems, likes to blame, find themselves perfect, fun of gossips, hypocrites and more annoying habits. I was not the only person who get annoyed but also some other support staffs.  This week has been a not so alright for me but I just tried to be calm and go with the flow.  I hope everything will be smooth and in harmony in the next coming weeks.

It was a great celebration at home because finally my sister will start working in a private hospital hopefully next month. Her lots of hard work and dedication to land a job in the medical field has finally arrive.  I personally helped her in my own little way especially in her clothing and uniform needs.  I learn that medical scrubs from Marcus uniforms are of good quality because there are lots of choices from pant scrub set of many different colors,  scrub tops, scrub pants, scrub jackets and many more. I am planning to order five sets of scrub sets of colors  blue, green, red, cream white and brown. My sister feels thankful because I am assisting  in her needs as she would be very busy as soon as she starts working  and that finding time for the right scrubs might be difficult soon. I wish her good luck in her new medical career and I hope she would enjoy her chosen line of work.

Spaghetti groceries

I went to the grocery section of the nearby mall last Friday to bought some ingredients for my planned spaghetti meal cooking for my weekend birthday. I was quite meticulous and choosy especially in the ingredients of the menu that I will cook because the quality of the taste has something to do with the quality of ingredients. In this basket I had Italian linguine pasta, canned diced tomatoes,  tomato and cheese pasta sauce,  spaghetti tomato sauce, quick melt cheese, cheddar cheese, condensed milk and cooking oil. I cooked the spaghetti last Saturday and everyone at home enjoyed the great tasting menu.

I receive a text message early this morning from my cousin and when I read it I find the message as an inspiring thoughts for today. With so many trials that people are experiencing in life, the message gives that enlightenment  on looking at life at present times. I share the message with my friends and relatives and wanted to share it here in my post.

God is the author of life. He is the reason

why certain things were allowed to happen.

He holds destiny. He knows when. He knows why.

He knows you perfectly. He made you.

So when your life is all mixed up

and things get heavier, trust Him.

He makes all things beautiful and meaningful….

Garlic kangkong menu

I like cooking green leafy vegetables this time and  this garlic kangkong menu was my favorite meal servings the other day. Kangkong (water spinach/swamp cabbage)  as popularly known locally here can be grown easily and I even have a plant box of some kangkong plants blooming and ready for cooking.  Fresh kangkong leaves are selected and cleaned thoroughly. Then slice lots of garlic preferably the native kind. Saute it on hot oil until golden brown. Then add a cup of water. Simmer as you put in some seasonings and salt to taste. Set aside. In a separate casserole  blanch the kangkong leaves very quickly, Drain and place in a plate. Top it with the garlic mixture then serve hot. Simple dish but tastes really good.  Also healthy as well.

Cloudy Saturday afternoon

My camera batteries was  newly charged so I took my time outside home to shot the skies. It was a cloudy afternoon last Saturday. I just do not know why because early morning the sun rose and shone bright but in the early part of the afternoon it just turned out cloudy as seen on the picture.  I thought this tree could grow some more leaves but it still looks the same in spite of the unpredictable weather condition. After two hour when I took this picture, the  rain started to fell. Not so strong though but it continued and that it could make you wet when your outside.  There was no typhoon coming up but according to the weather bureau, there was an inter tropical converging zone that was affecting the country.
